There has been significant backlash, and rightly so, against a recent Good Good Golf commercial promoting its new Callaway driver. The video shows co-founder Garrett Clark charging toward a woman as she reaches for his driver. Before she can touch it, he pushes her to the ground, stands over her, and angrily warns, “Do not touch my new driver.”Children’s ambitions, interests, and skills are shaped very early on by the media they consume, their choice of toys, and how they play. When these early experiences reinforce gender stereotypes and roles, it has a profound influence on their confidence, sense of self, and potential. (more)
The Tate brothers built their fortune through webcam pornography and by marketing misogyny and male dominance as success. One of their courses was even called “Pimping Hoes Degree.” Andrew Tate has said that women should “bear responsibility” for being sexually assaulted, and he described them as “empty vessels” who are “programmable.” At one point, he was one of the most searched people in the world.
